Beth Chatto at 90
One of the most influential gardeners in the world, Beth Chatto has rarely been seen on film. This special commission by the Garden Museum celebrates her life at the age of 90. The film was shot entirely on location during late summer and autumn at her gardens in Elmstead Market, Essex - a place of pilgrimage for anyone who cares about plants. This is a unique film - it is Beth Chatto telling her remarkable story in her own words.
Glasshouse by Kate Tempest
Cornucopia produced a feature length film of Glasshouse, written by award winning poet and rapper Kate Tempest for independent theatre company Cardboard Citizens. Glasshouse deals with issues of homelessness and incorporates Cardboard Citizens' Forum Theatre technique. At the end of the film members of the audience intervene to alter the course of events and try to resolve the troubling situations the characters find themselves in.
