MAGGIE'S CENTRE | 21'21"

Filmed in the Maggie's Centre in Hammersmith, London.  Maggie's Centre offers support for everyone affected by cancer - patients, family members and friends. The garden design, by Dan Pearson, is intended to add to the therapeutic effect of the building design and increase the healing potential.  Capturing this using an ambient video approach retained the feel and atmosphere of this urban oasis.

This film is one of three ambient videos made for the 'Green Fuse: The Work of Dan Pearson' exhibition at the Garden Museum in 2013.  They are best viewed in HD on a large screen or projected for full exhibition effect.  This was shot on Canon 5D mk2 with Soundfield surround sound mics for a fully immersive experience. Original sound was 5.1 surround, this video is in stereo.
